{Living in the Gorge}
Thinking of relocating or starting a new business? The Columbia River Gorge is a great region to combine your vocation with your avocation. We are truly blessed with some of the nation’s best recreational resources. There are many new and exciting businesses establishing their trades here where their employees (and families) enjoy a wonderful outdoor lifestyle. Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, rafting, skiing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and much more are all right here.
The GTA supports the surrounding communities and educational programs through the direct efforts of our membership. We provide technology mentoring, conduct seminars, sponsor job fairs, carry out surveys, and organize monthly networking meetings to share ideas. Our goal is to “keep in touch” through these initiatives and other general public awareness events that are very important to sustaining our area.
Many local and visiting artists have found the Gorge a wonderfully inspiring location to create, work and share their trade. Families and businesses here understand the importance of these contributions and appreciate what the arts have done to promote the area.
